Welcome to the Brant Figure Skating Club

Since 1947, the Brant Figure Skating Club has been the heart of skating in our community, welcoming everyone from tiny preschoolers taking their first steps on the ice to competitive athletes chasing their dreams. Our rink is more than just a place to skate—it's where passion, dedication, and lifelong memories are made.

Picture this: your child, bundled up in excitement, stepping onto the ice for the very first time. With the guidance of our devoted team of NCCP Certified, Skate Canada Coaches, they begin to glide, wobble, and eventually, master the art of skating. From our foundational PreCanskate and CanSkate programs to the specialized Power Skating sessions for future hockey stars, we offer a pathway for every skater.

As your child grows more confident, they transition into our StarSkate program, where personalized coaching helps them refine their skills in Freeskate, Dance, and more. Imagine their pride as they take their first Skate Canada test or compete in club, interclub and invitational competitions, their hard work shining through in every movement.

Learn to Skate

Ready to glide into the world of skating? Whether you're new to the ice or looking to improve your skills, our Learn to Skate Program offers a fun and supportive environment for all ages and abilities. Certified instructors guide you through each step, helping you build confidence and develop essential skating techniques. Figure Skating

Step onto the ice and unleash your inner performer with our Figure Skating program! Designed for skaters of all levels, our program combines artistry, athleticism, and grace to help you master the fundamentals and beyond. Whether you're dreaming of landing your first jump, perfecting your spins, or performing dazzling routines, our experienced coaches provide personalized guidance to help you shine.

Power Skating

Elevate your game with our Power Skating program, designed to enhance your speed, agility, and overall skating efficiency. Ideal for hockey players, our program focuses on the technical aspects of skating, including stride development, edge control, and explosive acceleration. Led by skilled coaches, you’ll push your limits and gain the competitive edge needed to dominate on the ice.

This year, the Brant Figure Skating Club invites you and your family to be part of the magic at our annual Flashing Blades Skating Carnival. Watch as skaters of all ages and skill levels dazzle with their spectacular routines, choreographed to tell an unforgettable story on ice!

This event is not just a showcase of talent but a celebration of the dedication and passion that each skater brings to the rink. It's an incredible opportunity for your child to perform on the big stage at the Brantford Civic Centre, surrounded by cheering family and friends. With show-stopping costumes, lively music, and a supportive community, this carnival promises to be an experience you won’t want to miss.

This year we will have two shows in which skaters can participate, a matinee and an evening show. Precanskaters and Canskaters will get picked up at intermission. Remember that all parents/guardians will be required to purchase tickets for each show they would like to watch.

Hello skaters! We're excited to plan another club trip to see Stars on Ice this year, especially after the fantastic time we had last year!

This year’s club outing to Stars on Ice is scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the Meridian Centre in St. Catharines. The show kicks off at 7 PM, but we definitely recommend arriving a bit early!

We can't wait to see you there and look forward to another memorable show and fun team-building experience!
